All change please

The Change Agenda is a publication for leaders who want to know what it takes to thrive in a world of endless change.

About me

My name is Phil Lewis, and I’m the founder of Corporate Punk.

I specialise in helping businesses to become more adaptive, resilient and innovative.

I also work as a mentor, advisor and non-executive director.

I used to contribute to Forbes, but they didn’t let me write what I want, so I quit to do this instead.

About this publication

The times in which we are living leave no room for complacency in our businesses and our lives. We need to think about how we show up for the people who rely on us, and for the world in general. We need to be uncompromising and clear-sighted about the impact of our actions. Dare I say it, we need to find a way of leading that is both spiritual and practical.

If we can adapt, we’ll build better businesses, happier communities and more fulfilling lives.

For all sorts of reasons, adapting means building organisations in which people feel energised, and free to be their natural selves. This is the essence of punk, and it’s what gives my business its name.

The spirit of punk is uncompromising: three chords and the truth about where we are now, and why. My intention is that these articles will be accessible and useful. I can’t guarantee that they will always be comfortable to read.

You might disagree with me. Good! Progress requires debate.

Punk also mandates taking direct action to change things. If one person makes one change in their business as a result of these articles, that’s good enough for me.

The plan is to publish one long article per month. Let’s see how we go.

What industry leaders say about Corporate Punk

“A coherent, data-led, practical and above all ‘non-fluffy' approach to overcoming major change barriers.” Sue Bonney, Partner & Board Member, KPMG

“We have got further with Corporate Punk in a single day than we have ever done with a Management Consultancy in weeks or even months.” Daniel Nathrath, CEO, Ada

“A refreshing and valuable partner to solve organisational conundrums.” David Reay, Senior VP of Global HR, Sony Music

“The work we have done with Corporate Punk will help our team achieve new levels of success.” Claire Eldridge, CEO, Aurora

“Brilliant, astute, knowledgeable and witty.” Sarah Mason, Director of Digital Transformation, Cosmos

“Consultancy people usually have lots of PowerPoint and little actual ability to create change or growth. Corporate Punk excels by communicating and planning to a very high level of detail, and has a proven track record in delivering step changes inside often complex businesses.” Scott Williams, ex-Googler and CTO, De Gruyter
